Maps

Luzaide/Valcarlos has always been a cultural and historical link between Europe and the Iberian Peninsula. Its privileged location has made it a witness to the Roman Road of the Pyrenees, the legendary Battle of Roncevaux Pass, and the Way of Saint James.

But beyond its rich history, today the majestic beauty of its forests and valleys and the welcoming and friendly nature of its people make it an ideal destination to explore at a leisurely pace, by bicycle or on foot. On this map you can find some of its most important routes: The Roman Road, the Way of Saint James —specifically the ‘Camino Bajo’ (Lower Way) and the ‘Desfiladero’ (Gorge)— and the Eurovelo 3 cycle route, which connects Norway with the Peninsula and reaches Compostela following the French Way.

Look for it in the top left corner of the map: this icon opens the layers tab, so you can turn them on, off or select them.

And this other one, at the top right of the bar, will show you all these options and more on a larger, full-screen map.
