This Roman milestone was recovered in Ibañeta in 2014, as part of the programme of archaeological research being promoted by the Aranzadi Science Society and the local councils of the towns through which the road passes.
It is a fragment of the middle section and it is made from Triassic sandstone. It was next to another, whole milestone made from limestone, with an inscription but no attribution. The researcher J.M. Martínez Txoperena indicates that the inscription was made using untidy rustic capitals.
Although only four whole lines remain, it was ascertained that it is dedicated to the Emperor Galerius Valerius Maximinus Junior.

(Valerius Maximianus Junior, pious and happy)
